Living Will is a document that confers the power on another (or more than one person) the right to make end of life decisions on behalf of an incapacitated person along with the concurring opinion of that person’s Doctor that there is not a medical probability the person could recover…this is the “pull the plug” document authorizing the cessation of mechanical life extending measures & the like. Many people confuse this with a “DNR”…a Do Not Resuscitate Order.
